Alan "Al" Curtis Saunders, 70, of Traverse City, died Monday, October 14, 2024, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.  He was born October 23, 1953, in Traverse City, the son of Earl and Bobbie Saunders.

Al worked as a Land Manger in the oil & gas industry until he retired.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and playing golf.  He loved America and was a diehard Trump supporter.  He truly loved his little piece of Heaven on Lake Rennie.

Al is survived by: his daughter, Nichole Fraize; grandchildren, Ashley, Alex, and Chase Fraize; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Grayson, and Calliope; and brothers, Ralph and Greg Labrash.

Al was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 21, 2024, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, 511 S. Garfield Avenue, Traverse City, Michigan  49684.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home.
