Alexander Roy Palmer, 36, of Mesick, passed away unexpectedly by cardiac arrest at his place of employment, Blarney Castle Oil, on Monday, September 30, 2024.

He was born in Holland, in 1988, to Karla Myers Schackow and Jerry Palmer.

Alex was preceded in death by: Grand Parents Clayton and Carol Myers of Allegan, Grandfather James Milbocker of Allegan, Aunt Ronda Myers Robinson of Hamilton, Uncle Jay Milbocker of Allegan, Cousin Kelly Myers of Gobles.

Alex is survived by his wife Samantha, their son Ford, his mother Karla Myers Schackow of Holland, his father Jerry (Karrie) Palmer of Allegan, siblings; Garrett (Amanda) Palmer of Grand Haven, Jimmy Schackow of Holland, Matthew Schackow of Holland, Susan (Jason) Schackow Benadum of Holland, Kelsey (Kyle) Heynen of Allegan, and Cody Stewart of Tennessee. Grand Parents Greg and Ann Gaulke of Allegan, Darlene Milbocker of Allegan, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life will take place November 10, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Trowbridge Township Hall in Allegan.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
