Alice Elaine Drachus (nee Wackernagel) peacefully flew the coop and headed to greener fairways on May 30, 2018. Born December 11, 1929, preceded by her loving husband Fred Drachus Sr. and parents Robert and Esther Wackernagel, along with brothers Clayton, Kenneth, Robert, Walter, and Carl Wackernagel.  She had a wicked sense of humor, an electric smile, and a passion for the game of golf. Her laugh and spitfire spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Daughters Mary (John) Buckley and Nancy (Thomas) Hurren, Son Fred, Grandsons Ian (Denise) Crancer and Jack (Jennifer) Crancer and Zachary Drachus, and Great Grandsons Christopher and Nicholas, are all better for having been in your radiant sphere.  We love you Mom, and hope to see you at the turn one day.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Monday, June 4, 2018, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, 413 S. Mears Avenue, Whitehall, 49461.  Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Montague.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Montague High School Girls Golf Team.
