Alice Jean Lehman Howell, 92, of White River Township, went to her heavenly home, June 4, 2019. She was born August 26, 1926, the daughter of August and Elsie Lehman.

Alice married Donald Howell on May 5, 1962. Together they raised two children and enjoyed 41 years of marriage until his death, June 3, 2003. She enjoyed raising her family, growing her vegetable and flower gardens, playing her guitar and harmonica, and singing. Alice was a loving, caring, creative, inventive woman. She will be deeply missed.

Alice is survived by: her sons, Jon (Barb) Howell, David (Amy) Howell; granddaughter, Carly Howell; brother, Frank (Joy Ann) Lehman; sister, Edith Lehman Bogart; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her husband; brother, Everett Lehman; and sisters, Rosalie Lehman Snobeck and Ardis Lehman Maiden.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, 413 South Mears Avenue, Whitehall.  Graveside services will immediately follow at Hubbard Cemetery, in White River Township, with Pastor Gary Peterson officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
