Ms. Alma Rose Thrailkill, age 74, of Hart, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Mercy Health Partners Lakeshore Campus in Shelby. She was born September 30, 1941, in Hart, to Lloyd and Lucile (Chase) Brimmer. She was a homemaker to her family and also was a foster parent, school bus driver for Hart Schools and a home health and respite care giver. Alma is survived by seven sons, Ken (Roxanne) Thrailkill of Ludington, Gary (Susan) Thrailkill of Mears, Danny (Lynette Smith) Thrailkill of Hart, Mark Thrailkill of Hart, Pat Thrailkill of Muskegon, Chris Thrailkill of Hesperia and Jeff Thrailkill of Hart; two daughters, Rose (Dave) Jones and Carol (Jerry) Hitchcock of Hart, ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Donna (John) VanderZanden of Hart; three brothers, Wayne (Kay) Brimmer of Shelby, Allen Brimmer of Hart and Anthony Brimmer of Hart; and her former husband, Russell "Red" Thrailkill of Hart. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Helen Hale and Wilma Kozlowski, and one brother, Fred Brimmer. The funeral service for Ms. Thrailkill will be Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at 7:00 pm at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Hart with Pastor Mark Looman officiating. Interment will be in Elbridge Township Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday one hour prior to the service at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
