Mrs. Almyra M. Cutter, age 77, of Hart, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009. She was born in Allendale, Michigan on May 25, 1932 to Matt and Barbara (Hartman) Kunish. On August 13, 1955 at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Elbridge, she married Paul Cutter and he preceded her in death on December 11, 1991. Mrs. Cutter was a factory worker having been employed at Chase Farms, Van Sickle Farms and Stokley's. Her interests included walking, cross word and jigsaw puzzles, knitting blankets and sweaters, shooting pool, golfing and riding motorcycles. She especially enjoyed playing solitaire and savored the victory over her kids while playing nickel-dime poker. She loved her grandchildren and always enjoyed accompanying her daughter and granddaughter showing their horses. Family life was of great importance to her and liked to have family over to the house for dinners. Grandma also always remembered everyone's birthday with a special card. Mrs. Cutter had attended St. Gregory Catholic Church and was a former member of the Altar Society at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Elbridge. She is survived by her children, Doug (Mary) Cutter of Bellevue, NE, Steven Cutter of Fremont, Paula (Steve) Nation of Colorado Springs, CO, Annette (Bill) Acker of Las Vegas, NV, Paul (Jami) Cutter of Hart; son in law, Dan Brischke of Shelby; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; special friend and companion, Lee Wise. Mrs. Cutter was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tamela Brischke on November 5, 2009. The Funeral Service for Mrs. Cutter will be held Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. from the Elbridge Community Church with Pastor Dennis Hintz officiating. Interment will be in the Elbridge Township Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Tate-King Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Crystal Valley Care Fund or the American Cancer Society.
