Alpha Emily Podgorski, 104, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend of many, left us peacefully December 2, 2018, to find her place with God.  Always trusting the wisdom of God and following his guidance, Alpha was kind, strong, loving and lived to bless others.  The Pastor and Congregation of Peace Lutheran, Ludington nurtured Alpha's spirit and gave her strength; Alpha inspired many and she will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 7, 2018, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Pere Marquette Chapel, 309 S. Washington Avenue, Ludington, with Rev. John Hansen officiating.  Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 PM until time of services at the funeral home.
