Angeline Mary Basar (Angie), 82, of Williamsburg, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 25, 2023 at French Manor Terra Assisted Living in Traverse City.

Angie was born in December 1940 to Branko and Sophie Ivankovich in Warren Township, Macomb County, Michigan.

In 1959, Angie married Robert J. Basar (Bob). Angie and Bob went on to have three children: Robert, Pamela, and Bradley.

Angie and Bob managed a TV station before selling it so they could enjoy early retirement. They then spent their time travelling around the world and across the US in their RV before settling to enjoy their beloved home in Williamsburg, Michigan. Angie was family oriented and loved nothing more than to have her family around her. She was a beautiful soul and was kind, thoughtful, and generous to everyone she met.

Angie was predeceased by Robert Sr. and Pamela and is survived by her sons Robert Jr. and Bradley, Bradley's wife Nikki, and grandchildren Lauren, Benjamin, and Zachary.

A memorial will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 1, 2023, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel, 511 S. Garfield Avenue, Traverse City, Michigan  49686.
