Ann Rita Borysiak, 82, left us on Monday, May 30, 2022. She peacefully passed away of natural causes surrounded by her family to join her loving husband, Bob.

Ann was born and raised in Ecorse, Michigan, the daughter of John and Marguerite Haener and the sister of Joan, John, Marge, Rick, and Kathy. Ann leaves behind her daughter Jill Borysiak and son-in-law Rick Helzer; sons Rob and Ted; daughter-in-law Stefanie; and granddaughters Isabella and Elisabeth.

Ann raised her family in Dearborn, Michigan, and was a Dearborn teacher for over 30 years. She retired to Elk Rapids, Michigan, and Venice, Florida, where she pursued the finer things like golf and kayaking. She spent most of her time with friends and family and shopping for her granddaughters. She left a lasting impression with everyone she met. She will be missed by all.

Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 4,
2022, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 143 Charles Street, Elk Rapids, Michigan
49629. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of services at the church.
