Obituary
Mrs. Ann Marie Myers, age 100, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Fountain View of Coopersville. She was born June 16, 1910 in Oceana County, Michigan to Charles and Sondian (Piper) Monton.
She married Elmer Myers June 30, 1930 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Weare Township, Oceana County. She retired from Gerber Baby Foods in 1968 and moved to Florida with her husband. She returned to Michigan and made her home at Fountain View of Coopersville in 2001.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Myers; son, Carl F. Myers and daughter, JoAnn Schaab. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Dorothy Myers of Conklin, Michigan; grandchildren, Thom (Carol) Myers, Joe (Robin) Myers, Rick Myers, Carleen (Tim) Klein and Dan (Allyson) Myers; 12 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Myers are Monday, February 7, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Weare at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Phillip Sliwinski officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. The family requests that any memorials be directed to Fountain View of Coopersville, 640 W. Randall, Coopersville, MI 49404.
