IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anna Marie
Bright
April 18, 1928 – June 26, 2022
Anna M. Bright, 94, of Traverse City died peacefully at home on Sunday, June 26, 2022. Born in Cedar area on April 18, 1928, she was the daughter of Peter and Rosalia (Jankowski) Marach who migrated from Poland to the United States in November 1927.
She worked at Burwood Products in Traverse City and very much enjoyed her waitressing years at J&S Hamburg and the Bean Pot.
Anna loved her family and her church. She was a volunteer for her church doing whatever was necessary to provide food and comfort for families during many funeral luncheons. She was an extremely hard worker. Being a military wife, she took care of her home and family many times while her husband was serving our country.
On June 14, 1947, she married Jerald M. Bright who preceded her in death on April 13, 1991. Surviving are their three daughters: Mrs. Shirley (Rodney) Schaub, Mrs. Sue (John) Silvis, and Sandra Bright. Also surviving are four grandsons: Corey (Ann) Schaub, Casey (Tina) Schaub, Nathaniel (Jennifer) Roberts, and Matthew (Alyssa) Bright. Anna also had 11 great-grandchildren: Avery, Austin, Lillian, Andrew, Samantha, Kaylee, Ezekiel, Jacob, Taylor, Thea, and Kaden, all of whom she loved dearly.
She was also preceded in death: by her parents; brother, John Marach; and sister, Martha Klawitter.
