Anne Katharine Capek, 75, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully Friday, December 1, 2023. She was born September 12, 1948, the daughter of Clarence and Evangeline (Groff) Capek.

Anne worked and retired from the State of Michigan as a care aid. She spent 20 years working for the Department of Mental Health and 10 years working for the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.

Anne grew up playing basketball, golf, and shooting pool. She enjoyed playing video games, dancing, singing, and classical music. One thing her friends and family will always remember about her is the love she had for her animals.

Anne is survived by her brothers, Richard and Ray Capek and nieces, Nancy and Jane Capek.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents and many animals.

In accordance with Anne's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
