Anthony David "Tony" Danicek, 66, of Muskegon, passed away Monday, August 11, 2025. He was born August 11, 1959, in Muskegon, the son of Rudolph and Lillian (Pearson) Danicek.
Tony took over ownership of Danicek Auto following his parents' retirement in 1984. He continued to operate the family business until 2000. He then was employed with Meijer for many years, retiring in 2022.
In Tony's younger years he and his brothers had a band in which he was the drummer. The three Danicek brothers went by '3D' and played many gigs in the Muskegon area. He was also an avid sports fan, mainly rooting for the Detroit Lions or the Detroit Tigers; but he had a passion for playing softball, and loved sponsoring the Danicek Auto Softball Team.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Lynn Danicek; son, Jason Anthony Danicek; siblings, Joe (Lisa) Danicek and Denny (Nora) Danicek; sisters-in-law, Lorna Danicek and Susan Ward; brother-in-law, Steven Ward; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Tony was preceded in death by: his parents, Rudolph and Lillian Danicek; his son, Jeremy David Danicek; siblings, Linda Lou Danicek, Rudolph Danicek III, James Danicek, and Michael Danicek; and his mother and father-in-law, Charles and Rosemary Ward.
In accordance with Tony's wishes, cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later time.
Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
