Mrs. April Irene Routley, age 64, of Hart, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Tendercare of Ludington.  She was born May 13, 1952, in Wyandotte to Richard and Elizabeth (Brooks) Payne.  She was employed at Whitehall Manor, now known as Heartland-Whitehall in the housekeeping department. She married George Routley in Hart on February 20, 1971 and he survives her.

April enjoyed bird watching, flowers and shopping. She was an avid reader of romance stories and magazines. She enjoyed her many friends and her cat Oreo.

April is survived by her husband: George Routley and one daughter: Erica Nicole Hay. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Janette Roberts.

The Funeral Service for Mrs. Routley will be held Thursday, April 6, 2017, at 2:00 pm at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Hart with the Rev. William Meyers officiating. Interment will be in the Oceana Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 pm until time of service at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
