Obituary

Arlie Alfred Fredrickson, age 70 of Manistee Michigan, went to be with his Lord on August 10, 2022, four days before his 71 st birthday, less than three weeks after discovering kidney cancer. He was born to Arnold and Dorothy Fredrickson on August 14, 1951.

Arlie graduated from Manistee High School and Westshore Community College. Arlie worked as a carpenter and also had his own business "Arlies' Frame Shop" in Onekama, for several years. Arlie built his own barrier free home, with the help of his dad, and retired early to care full time for his handicapped son, Adam. Arlie liked finding a good deal at an auction sale, weather he needed it or not. He liked to turn logs into lumber and turn lumber into something creative and useful. Arlie was loving, hardworking, generous, creative, humble, kind, gentle, faithful, dedicated, and had a dry sense of humor.

Arlie and Donna (Budzynski) were married January 25, 1985. Arlie is survived by his wife Donna, and one son, Adam; one sister, Kay Wagner, of Manistee, and one brother, Roy Fredrickson (Lynee') of Bridgman, Michigan, and several nephews and nieces.

Arlie will be greatly missed. "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and he delighteth in His way." Psalm 37:23 KJV.

No services are planned at this time.
