Obituary

Arnold Robert Lambrix, 70, of Hart, was reunited with his son, Curt, in Heaven, on Tuesday, August 27, 2019. He was born October 20, 1948, in Hart, the son of Vernon and Jean Ann (Bruckman) Lambrix.

Arnie was very active in his community, having been a member and past president of Hart Jaycees, a referee for youth basketball and softball, and a member of the Oceana Fraternal Order of Eagles #3167. He retired after 39 years from Hanson Cold storage, where he was also past union steward of Teamsters, Local 406. Following his retirement, he worked at Colonial Golf Course in Hart.

Arnie was a fun-loving, light-hearted man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and being outdoors; but most of all; he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Arnie is survived by: his loving wife, Ellen Lambrix; daughter, Tamara (Kirk) Sternberg; daughter-in-law, Debra Lambrix; grandchildren, Grady Lambrix, Mayson Lambrix, and Brayden Sternberg; sister, Linda (Earl) Peterson; brother, Dan (Janice) Lambrix; sister-in-law, Marlene (Larry) Lindsay; brother-in-law, Alan (Brenda) Peeraer; uncle, Dr. Joseph (Billie) Bruckman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arnie was preceded in death by: his parents, Vernon and Jean Lambrix; son, Curt Lambrix; and sister-in-law, Karen Mead.

Memorial Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 6, 2019, at Hart Wesleyan Church, 3757 W. Polk Road, Hart, with Pastors Tom Schmidt and Robert Gray officiating. There will be a luncheon to follow at Oceana Eagles, 4535 N. Oceana Drive, Hart. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, September 5, 2019, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, 2370 N. 72 nd Ave, Hart, and Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church.

Memorial Contributions may be made to: the Lambrix-Sternberg Education Trust, Payable to: Raymond James & Associates, or the Crystal Valley Care Fund.
