Arthur Roger Bertoldi, 92, of Pentwater, passed away at Cherry Blossom Manor from Alzheimer's on Friday, May 14, 2021. He was born February 26, 1929, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Alberto and Marguerite (Gherardi) Bertoldi.

Art graduated from New York City High School in 1947. Arthur and Joyce Robbins married in 1951. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary one month before Arts passing. He was an artist and academic earning several degrees including a Doctorate in Education Administration. Art served as superintendent of school districts on Long Island, New York, before transitioning to University teaching as a professor in developing programs.

Art was most proud of his family encouraging them to be all they could be. Wife Joyce, PHD, son, Roger, Medical Doctor, and son, Ronald, PHD in Clinical Psychology.  Art was blessed with three beautiful granddaughters. He was familiar with city culture that did not excite him. However, learning about agriculture on visits to Hart did excite him.  The wonder of seeing a cherry tree shake!

Cremation has taken place and interment will be at Hauppauge Cemetery in Smithtown, New York.
