Arthur "Art" William Wilkins, 90 of Traverse City, passed away, Wednesday, December 18, 2024 with family at his side.

Art was born April 24, 1934, in Traverse City, the son of Theodore and Charlotte Wilkins.

On June 20, 1953, he married Doris Fewins, celebrating 71 years of marriage.  Art was a hard worker and took great pride in his family.  He was a "jack of all trades", working at Grand Traverse Overall, Valley Truck Parts and Art's Auto and truck Parts. He enjoyed bowling, watching the Detroit Tigers play, his witty sense of humor, playing euchre and "Family gatherings."

Art is survived by his wife, Doris; Son Terry (Sue); grandchildren Mike (Lisa) Wilkins, Ann (Ken) Hudson, Amanda Wilkins, Sarah Wilkins and Justin (Cassie) Wilkins; Great Grandchildren; Kelsey & Travis Sheffer, Tyler, Levi and Samantha Wilkins; Sister Donna Keith, daughter- in- law Sharon Wilkins; niece Dee Kramer many nieces and nephew and by a special friend Eli Haywood.

Art was preceded in death by his parents, son Gary, Great grandchild Sterling Wilkins, 2 Brothers Robert & Keith and sister Delores

A Celebration of Life will be held, Monday, December 23, 2024 from 11AM to 3PM, at Bendon Hall, located at the corner of Cinder & Bendon Road.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
