Audrey A. Nelson, age 89, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007. She was born in Scottville, MI on February 24, 1918 to George and Laura (Pleines) Peterson. She married Harland Nelson in 1962 at East Lansing, MI. Mrs. Nelson was employed as Health Laboratory Technician for the State of Michigan until her retirement in 1980. She attended the First Baptist Church of Hart. Audrey is survived by her husband Harland Nelson of Hart, niece, Janet (Bill) Hegg of Hart; several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sylvia Jensen on June 29, 1996. The Funeral Service for Audrey will be held Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Tate-King Funeral Home with Pastor Mark M. Looman officiating. Interment will be in the Brookside Cemetery, Scottville. Memorial contributions may be given to Oceana Christian School or to the Oceana County Council on Aging.
