Audrey M. Snow, age 76 of Walkerville, died Thursday June 7, 2007. She was born May 20, 1931 in Leavitt Township, Oceana County to Max F. and Essie (Flannery) Knowles. She was a 1948 graduate of Walkerville High School and attended Western Michigan University. Audrey married Donald Snow on June 24, 1950. Audrey taught school at Ferry and Coopersville. Along with her husband, Don, they operated the Snow's General Store of Walkerville for 10 years. She is survived by her husband Donald Snow, three children, Diane (Joe) Fitzpatrick of Coopersville, Sue (Mark) Lillie of South Bend, IN and Douglas Snow of Coopersville. Four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Brother, Frank of Kingley, Sisters, Vera Slocum of Texas, Joanne Reed, Rosemary (Richard) Jordan, Vickie (Ron) Perry, Margaret (John) Bond, Linda Dodds, all of Walkerville, Pat (Robert) Maciejewski of Grand Rapids. Sisters in law, Sharon Knowles and Mary Ann Knowles of Walkerville. Brothers in law, Elwin (Judy) Snow of Walkerville, Richard (Joyce) Snow of Sterling Heights, MI. Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Ronald and Max, brother in law Robert Snow, Herbert Dodds, Dick Slocum and Joseph Reed. Services for Audrey will be Friday, June 15, 2007 at 3:00 PM at Tate-King Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Abbott officiating. Interment in Colfax Cemetery. Family and friends are invited for coffee and refreshments following the service. Contributions may be given to Hospice of Oceana or charity of your choice.
