Obituary

Barbara Ann Beaman, 89, of College Station, Texas, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024.  She was born February 26, 1935, in Springfield, Ohio, to Andrew and Alice Williams.  She was the eldest of six children.  She moved with her family to Whitehall, Michigan, when she was a teenager.

Barbara was among the first group of women to become a Manager for Kentucky Fried Chicken, receiving her training diploma from Colonel Sanders himself.  As an adult, she served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the California, San Diego Mission.  She enjoyed gardening, canning, embroidery, quilting, reading, genealogy, word search puzzles, baking, and candy making.

Barbara is survived by: her children, Roger (Denise)Greve, Dale (Robin) Greve, Paul Greve, Larry (Kim) Greve, and Kathy(Keith) Kuttler; Bonus children, Gale (Gail)Beaman, Dale (Pam)Beaman, and Allen Boggs Sr.; She was also blessed with 39 grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by: her parents, Andrew and Alice Williams; brother, Bruce Williams; sister, Dianna Raider; daughter, Susan Beaman; bonus daughters, Phyllis Beaman and Gaylene Boggs.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 11, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1725 West Giles Rd, North Muskegon, MI 49445, with a visitation being held one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will follow in Fruitland Township Cemetery.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
