Mrs. Barbara J. Larson, age 79 of Hart, died Monday, November 16, 2009. She was born in Hart on January 26, 1930 to Phillip and Nellie (Erwin) Glover. Mrs. Larson graduated from Hart High School with the Class of 1948. On February 26, 1948 in Ludington, she married Raymond J. Larson. She was a member of the Mears United Methodist Church and served as the secretary-treasurer of the church. She also was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary and the Red Hats. Mrs. Larson co-owned and operated with her husband the Larson and Son Ace Hardware. Mrs. Larson is survived by her husband Raymond J. Larson of Hart; their children, Rodney (Janice) Larson of Salt Lake City, Utah, Nancy (Jon) Hook of Toledo, OH, Garth (Susan) Larson of Hart; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Jack (Marrianne) Glover of Hart. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gordon "Corky" Glover and by her sister, Gerry Jonassen. The Funeral Service for Mrs. Larson will be held Friday, November 20, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. from the Mears United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Tate-King Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Mears United Methodist Church.
