Barbara Ann (Goodman) Mihelsic, 75 of Rapid City, Michigan has been peacefully laid to rest on June 24, 2023.

Barbara was a well known and very loved lifelong resident of Rapid City and Elk Rapids all of her life.  She was a graduate from Elk Rapids High School Class of 1969.

Barb was an employee at Village Market in Elk Rapids for over 30 years.  She easily greeted over 1 million customers over time there.  She left everyone with her laughter and smile.  She's going to be sadly missed by all that knew her and called her my friend.

She is survived by her three children: Sheryl Ann (Barry) Merchant, Scott E. Mihelsic and Jeremy Lee Horrighs; Sisters: Debra Shann, Lisa Goodman and Brother William Floyd Goodman; 8 wonderful grandchildren: Holly, Brandon, Austin, Kristen, Hannah, Madison, Laila and Blake; 3 great grandchildren; Reece, Reed & Charlee and many cousins, nieces and nephews throughout many generations of family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd Quinton Goodman and Margaret Harriet (Powell) Goodman, husband George Edward Mihelsic , step sister Penny Grace Waddington, brothers David Allen Goodman and infant brother Charles Lloyd Goodman

Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 11am to 1PM at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Elk Rapids Chapel.

Memorial services will be begin at 1PM following the visitation.

A luncheon is being planned and will be announced later.
