Barbara Yancey, 76, of Walkerville, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024. She was born October 21, 1947, in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Jessie and Viola Cotton.

Barbara is survived by: her loving husband of 52 years, James; daughter, Jennifer; sons, Patrick and James Jr.; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Barbara was a special lady who always encouraged those around her to be their best selves.

In accordance with Barbara's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will held at this time.  A memorial for her with family will be soon.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
