Mr.Beldon P. Hasty, age 65, died November 17, 2011, with dedicated family at his side. He was born April 22, 1946, in Hart, to Vernon and Avis (Haenke) Hasty. A graduate of Hart High School, where he served as its Marching Band Drum Major, Beldon also was a graduate of Peggy White Hair Styling Academy and was a Certified Master Hair Stylist. He worked at Tieke Haute Salon in Grand Rapids for a number of years. He later attended Wayne State University School of Mortuary Science and became a very capable Licensed Funeral Director. He worked at Clock Funeral Home in Muskegon for a number of years and presently was part of the staff at Clock Funeral Home in Whitehall and Ludington and King Funeral Home in Hart. He was preceded in death by his parents Avis and Vern, a brother, Gary, and sisters, Cheryl Showalter and Priscilla Dennison. Beldon was a talented hair-stylist, a compassionate and well thought of funeral director, and a friend to many. He will be greatly missed by those closest to him.

FAMILY: Many beloved nieces and nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews, great-grandnieces & great-grandnephews, in-laws, and a special friend, David Malmquist of CA.

SERVICE: Sunday, November 20, 2011, at 7 PM, at King Funeral Home, 2370 N. 72nd Ave. Hart, with the Rev. Lorraine T. Boucon officiating. Interment will be made next to his family in Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 6-8 PM at the Clock Funeral Home in Whitehall and Sunday from 2-4 PM at the King Funeral Home in Hart.
