Benjamin Corey Doorenbos, 52, of Muskegon, died Thursday, July 23, 2026, at home.  He was born February 21, 1974, in Garden Grove, California, the son of Harold and Dawn (Sage) Doorenbos Sr.

Ben starting working at KFC in Whitehall in 1993 and was currently employed at the KFC location on Apple Avenue in Muskegon.  In his spare time Ben enjoyed singing Karaoke, listening to golden oldies, especially Elvis, and collecting police cars.

Ben is survived by: his brothers and sisters, Dawn (Neal) Null, Harold Doorenbos, William Doorenbos and Pamela Doorenbos; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ben was preceded in death by: his parents; his children, Anthony and Jasmine; and his sister, Deanna.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Ben's life will be held at a later date.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
