Mrs. Bernadette Florence Dennert, age 89, of Hart, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012. She was born April 2, 1922, in Weare Township to Joseph and Frances (Kraus) Greiner. She married Edgar G. Dennert in 1943. He preceded her in death on December 6, 2008. Mrs. Dennert was an Avon representative for twenty-five years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Bernadette is survived by two sons, Robert Dennert and Jerry Dennert, both of Hart; four grandchildren, Jennifer Beard, Angela, Amber, and Adam Dennert; five great-grandchildren, Azlyn and Taylor Dennert, Angela, Abigail, and Andrew Beard; and two sisters, Eleanor Lydens and Virginia Dennert, both of Hart. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; a son, Ronald Dennert; a daughter-in-law, Donna Dennert; three brothers, Michael, Francis, & Harold Greiner; and four sisters, Theresa Aerts, Mary Kokx, Lillian Kokx and Cecelia Kokx.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday, March 30, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Anton Tran presiding. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. The family requests that any memorials be directed to Crystal Valley Care Fund, P.O. Box 451, Hart, MI 49420.
