Betty Jean Ferguson, 61, of Grawn, died Monday, February 26, 2024, at home. She was born February 14, 1963, in Portland, Maine, the daughter of Wilfred and Marlene (Cheney) Morrison.
Family was the most important thing in Betty's life. She doted on the love of her life, John, and her children and grandchildren. She liked to camp and do puzzles. She also enjoyed crafts and crocheting.
Betty is survived by: 5 children and 16 grandchildren, Mark (Amanda) Morrison (Mikayla/Hunter, Joe, Matthew, Cassidy, Sandy and Pierson), Amy Alexander (Shyann and Cameron), Jenny (Jason) Munro (Haley/Logan, Austin, Trevor, Nicole), Richard Morrison (Logan, Olive), and Thomas Morrison; 2 great-grandchildren, Layla and Paisley; brother, Rich Morrison; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Betty was preceded in death by: her significant other, John Eppley; her parents; grandson, Ethan Morrison; and sister, Mary Tester.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 4, 2024, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, 511 S. Garfield Avenue, Traverse City, Michigan 49686. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery in Interlochen. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home.
