Beulah Mae Sigsbey, 93, of Traverse City, died Saturday, December 24, 2022, at the Grand Traverse Pavilions.  She was born September 5, 1929, in Traverse City, the daughter of William and Beatrice (Becker) Welch.

On November 20, 1948, Beulah married the love of her life, Harvey Franklin Sigsbey, Jr., in Traverse City.  Together they raised four children.

Beulah worked as a secretary at Milliken's as well as Farm Bureau Insurance.  She was a life member of First Congregation Church, working at the thrift shop and volunteering for whatever was needed.  Beulah enjoyed baking, crocheting, puzzles, and playing cards (especially Phase 10) with family and friends.  You would always know when saying goodbye, she's there to give you a big hug.

Beulah is survived by: four children, Roger (Joyce), Michael, Patrick, and Penny Sigsbey (Bill Grice) all of Traverse City; five grandchildren, Rachel (Thomas) Hartwig, Ryan (Andi) Sigsbey, Nathanial (Chelsie) Sigsbey, Ashley, and Leilani Sigsbey; five great-grandchildren, Oliver and Meredith Hartwig, Leif and Arlo Sigsbey, and Matt Caldwell.

In addition to her parents, Beulah was preceded in death by: her husband Harvey in 2009; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Sigsbey; sister, Charlotte Oien; and brother, William Welch.

Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 PM, Friday, May 26, 2023, at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens in Traverse City.  A celebration of life will follow at the Traverse City Fraternal Order of the Eagles #383, 409 West 14th Street, Traverse City, Michigan  49684.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Congregational Church of Traverse City.
