Mrs. Beverly Joyce Flanery-Lamb, age 85, of Ludington and formerly of Walkerville, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013. She was born April 1, 1928, in Webberville, Michigan to Jason and Mable (Wolever) Cole. Beverly married Lawrence J. Flanery on October 18, 1947 in Ruby Creek, Michigan, and he preceded her in death. She later married Derlynn Lamb in 1975 and he also precedes her in death. She enjoyed traveling, family picnics at roadside parks with her fried chicken, crocheting, spending time with her grandchildren hunting for pop cans and visiting cemeteries looking at headstones.
She is survived by her four daughters, Lorraine (Michael) Chase, Debra (Michael) Oomen, and Brenda (Vince) Miskosky, all of Walkerville, and Michelle (Joe) Shaddock of Bitely; two sons, Michael (Jenny) Flanery of Gibralter, Michigan, and Lawrence Flanery Jr. of Whitehall; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Cole of Big Rapids, Michigan and Jackie Cole of Cabit, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by both husbands; her parents; four brothers, Melvin, Jason "Chuck", Bernard, and Merle Cole; and four sisters, Gerthene Eveland, Donna Cross, Thelma Kidder, and Eleanor Tyler.
The Funeral Service will be held at11:00 a.m. on Monday December 30, 2013 at King Funeral Home in Hart. Burial will take place at McCumber Cemetery in Branch. MI. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday for one hour before the service.
