Mr. Bobby E. Joiner, age 69 of Pentwater, died Saturday, June 5, 2010. He was born in Hartford, Alabama on September 2, 1940 to Earnest and Anice Lorene (Hughes) Joiner. On June 2, 1973 in Clear Creek, IN he married Phyllis Hittle. Mr. Joiner was employed as a sales rep for Motorola until his retirement in 1993. He had also served in the National Guard. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Phyllis Joiner of Pentwater; children, Wendi Joiner of Humboldt County, CA, Michael (Aracelis Suarez) Joiner of Columbus, GA; grandson, Kavi Joiner; 2 brothers, Ronald (Joan) Joiner of Bonifay, FL, Thomas Ray (Barbara Reppa) Reynolds of San Francisco, CA; step brother, Wayne (Lynn) Henderson of Black, AL; step sister, Cindy (Mike) Long of Bonifay, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother. The Memorial Service for Mr. Joiner will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. from the First Baptist Church-Pentwater, with Pastor Matthew Nofke officiating. Memorials may be given to the Missionary Fund of the First Baptist Church-Pentwater.
