Brayden Lee Gieske, of Hart, died Thursday April 8, 2010. He was born February 4, 2010 in Ludington to Nicole Gieske and Corydon Smith. Brayden is survived by his parents Nicole (Paul Kirby) Geiske of Hart and Corydon Smith of Mears; sister, Hailie Smith of Hesperia; Grandparents, Diane Gieske of Hart, Laura Hammond of Mears, Pam Hergert of Baldwin; Great Grandparents, Benjamin Liesberg of Hart, Joella Riggs of Mears, Donna Oomen of Whitehall; aunts and uncles, Jamie (Jon) Bateson of Pentwater, Wade Gieske of California, Holly (Robert) Rought of Montague, Melanie (Tom) Walicki of Pentwater, Shannon (Kraig) Genter of Nevada, MO, Lara Smith of Hart, Dylan Smith of Coldwater, MI; several great aunts, uncles and cousins. Brayden was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Johanna Liesberg. Brayden was the best gift from God given to Nicole. He saved her and made her a better person. He is my everything. Just seeing him smile melted my heart, as well as everyone else who had the privilege of holding and knowing him. The best kind of love was what I had for Brayden, no one could love him more. I don't understand why someone so precious was taken from me, but I know he is in a better place and will not have to hurt. The Funeral Service for Brayden will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. from the First Baptist Church, Hart with Pastor Mark Looman officiating. Interment will be in the Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 6-8 P.M. at the First Baptist Church, Hart and Tuesday, one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to the needs of the family, payable to the First Baptist Church.
