Mr. Brian Morris Flood, age 61, of Pentwater, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016, at home. He was born June 28, 1954, in Hart to Maurice and Caroline (Stefanits) Flood. He was employed as a deck hand with State of Michigan Department of Natural Resources. He married the former Debra Bromley on December 8, 1979 in Pentwater.
Brian enjoyed the out of doors, especially snowmobiling and Lake Michigan. He liked tinkering with cars and was a collector of anything he thought was a treasure. The joy of his life was his grandson Porter.
Brian is survived by his wife: Debra Flood of Pentwater; daughter: Amber (Grey) Jaeb of Pentwater; son: Joseph Flood of Pentwater; one grandson, Porter Jaeb; his mother Caroline M. Flood of Pentwater; four sisters: Shirley (Stanley) Wiegand of Mears, Nancy Fenton of Pentwater, Jean (Ralph) Hilton of Pentwater and Anita Flood of Hart; He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice E. Flood.
The Memorial Service for Mr. Flood will be held Monday, May 9, 2016, at 11:00 am at West Golden Wesleyan Church in Mears with Rev. Ron Rickard officiating.
