Bruce Barrett, 57, unexpectedly passed away at his home in Grawn, Michigan, Monday, September 13, 2021.
Bruce was born July 29, 1964, to the late Thomas Ray and Vera Barrett (York) in Royal Oak, Michigan. Bruce enjoyed many things, including cooking, Detroit Lions, U of M, hunting, fishing, Scrabble and corny jokes.
Most of all, Bruce enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren grow.
Bruce is survived by: brother, Robert (Elaine) Davison; sisters, Nancy (Charles) Scaffidi, Patti (John) Nagle, Sandy Allan, and Jeannie Barrett; children, Joey (Cassie) Haselton, Angela (Aaron) Yarbrough. Philip (Sarah) Lindsay and Christina "Rosie" Lindsay; grandchildren, Bentley, Wesley, Kaiden, Ashlynn, Brooklyn, Lyssa, Genevieve, Olliver, Charlotte, Isabelle, Isaac; and his lifelong friends, Jerry and Dan Rocker. Bruce is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and his Aunt Jo (Russ) Petersen.
Bruce was preceded in death by: his parents; older brother, Jeff (J.D.) Davison; sister, Theresa Ray, and his nephew, Mark Baker.
No services will be held at this time.
Bruce always gave to the kids, so the family is asking in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to J&S Hamburg- Feed the Kids.
