Bruce Edward Hendrie, 60, of Mears, died Sunday, November 7, 2021, after a long struggle with cancer.  He was born November 29, 1960, in Detroit, the son of Robert and Bertha (Williams) Hendrie.

Bruce worked for many years as a drywaller and painter.  In his spare time he loved building with rocks.

Bruce is survived by: his sisters, Caroline (Tom Purcell) Hendrie of Canton, Michigan, and Susan (Robert) Akers of Mt. Morris, Illinois; his nephew, Michael LaRush; and many special friends and family in Mears.

Bruce was preceded in death by: his parents; and his brother, Charlie Hendrie.

Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
