Bruce Alan Puls, 72, of Whitehall, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 23, 2023. He was born in Muskegon, April 1, 1951, the son of Paul and Phyllis (Pulaski) Puls.

Bruce married Denise Fishell on March 3, 1991, and they spent 32 years together.

Bruce graduated from Whitehall High School and earned an Associate's Degree at Muskegon Community College.  He retired from Bayer Cropscience in 2011, after 34 years of employment as a chemical operator and supervisor.

Bruce enjoyed biking, hiking, home improvement projects, and spending time with his family and friends.

Bruce is survived by: his wife, Denise Fishell; sons, Brian Puls of Gaffney, SC and John (Mariefe) Puls of Harker Heights, TX; three granddaughters, Alysa Serapion of Hawaii, Joselle Sebastian of Oklahoma, and Johnelle Puls of Texas; one great-grandson, Colin; brothers, Timothy (Terry) of Twin Lake, Joseph (Laura), Steve (Bonnie) of Muskegon, Peter (Brenda) of Whitehall, and Thomas of Grayling; sisters, Elizabeth Busch of White Cloud, Susan (Scott) of Grand Rapids, and Alicia (Joseph) Stratil of Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews

Bruce was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, William; and sister, Julia Crowell.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM, on Friday, September 29, 2023, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, 413 South Mears Avenue, Whitehall, MI 49461, with a brief service to follow at 5:00 PM. A light supper will follow the service at the home of Peter and Brenda Puls, 2694 White Lake Drive, Whitehall, MI 49461.
