Bruce A. Wiggers, 68, of New Era, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020. He was born August 29, 1951, in Muskegon, the son of Harvey "Harp" and Harriett (Obenauf) Wiggers.
Bruce served his country in the US Army, being stationed in Germany from 1971-1973. After discharge, he joined the Michigan National Guard. Bruce really enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, and sitting around a campfire playing his guitar and singing. Barbara was also a good singer, and sang along with him. He retired from Gray and Company in Hart.
On October 21, 1977, Bruce married the former Barbara Gale, and she survives him. He is also survived by: step-daughters, Beth Mosley and Paula Tracy; several step-grandchildren; siblings, Loretta (Dan) Chambers, Joanne (Jim) Greenert, Dale (Dianna) Wiggers, Darrell Wiggers, Jim (Pat) Wiggers, Dawn (Doug) Bow; several nieces and nephews; and special neighbors, Paul and Brenda Tompkin.
Bruce was preceded in death by: his parents, Harp and Harriett Wiggers; step-son, Donny Baker; sister, Sandra (Orville) Thomas; and sister-in-law, Mary Jane Wiggers.
Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date. Interment will be in West Hesperia Cemetery.
Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
