Cadenn Lorenz, 30, of Hart, passed away October 22, 2022. He was born April 2, 1992, in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

Cadenn always had a smile on his face when he was dropped off at Knudsen Elementary School. His favorite teacher was Ms. Zube who absolutely adored him. As a youngster he especially liked picking on his little sister, Landyn, constantly! Cadenn's love for skateboarding was astronomical. Taking every moment he could find to be outside skating in the breeze. He couldn't wait until the spring when the snow melted to return to the local skate park. Even as a young boy, with the dog leash in hand, his little dog, Stoli, would pull him around the subdivision. Cadenn was a huge fan of the Detroit Red Wings. He also liked riding his bike, soccer, and basketball; but he was so great at baseball, excelling in pitching and shortstop. He was the only person on his team to get three outs at once; catching the fly ball, tagging the runner to third, and then stepping on second base!

Cadenn was a free spirit, full of life, and had so much to give to the world, until he eventually started experimenting with drugs. The illness took this intelligent young man to destruction. He struggled with it for many years until it eventually took his life. Yet this never stopped his love for the outdoors, drawing, skateboarding, and connecting with his family both biological and crafted. Cadenn's love for his friends knew no bounds, as he considered them to be his family. If we can only start talking about addiction, then maybe, somehow, we can save at least one life.

Cadenn is survived by: his mother, Tami (Michael) Schiller; father, Doug Lorenz; sisters, Landyn Lorenz and Renleigh Schiller; brother, Lincoln Schiller; nephew, Bheret Steiger; grandparents, Allen and Janice Foster and Lynn and Rhonda Schiller; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
