Mrs. Carol L. Hoffman, age 59 of Hart, died Friday July 3, 2009. She was born in Hart on September 26, 1949 to LeRoy and Marjorie (English) Peterson. She was a member of the Class of 1967 at Hart High School. She was united in marriage to Alan Hoffman in Hart on July 2, 1998. Carol was employed in the Wax Department at Howmet from 1970 until her retirement in 1990. She love life and lived it to the full. She loved her family and her grandchildren and animals. Carol will be remembered for her sense of humor. She is survived by husband, Alan Hoffman of Hart, daughter, Dawn Spears of Shelby, three grandchildren, Nicholas, Autumn, Lydia Spears, one step-son,
Ben Hoffman of Holland, MI, brother, Fred (Linda) Peterson of Brimley, MI, sister, Wanda Peterson of Brimley, MI, her parents, LeRoy and Marjorie Peterson of Hart. According to her wishes, there will not be any funeral service. Interment will be made in the Hart Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Oceana County Humane Society.
