Carol is a graduate of Muskegon High School. After graduation she obtained her Nursing degree from the University of Michigan. Soon after she was registered nurse at the Midland Hospital. In 1963, Carol married the love of her life, Jerry Inman at the Muskegon Central Methodist Church. Always one to stay active, Carol devoted countless years volunteering for the Inland Seas Association helping students understand the ecology of the Great Lakes. She loved tending to her garden and enjoying the wildlife on her property. She could be found most mornings on her back porch watching the birds and completing a crossword puzzle. She was an extensive traveler who loved to share her experiences and listen to the adventures of others. Carol appreciated the fine arts and was a long-time season ticket holder to the Old Town Playhouse and a frequent attendee of the Interlochen Arts Academy. Her and Jerry were passionate supporters of the University of Michigan and shared many travel experiences rooting on the Maize and Blue.
