Carole Ann Kamhout, age 70, of Rothbury, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018. Carole was born on October 26, 1947 to Raymond and Joyce Van Slyke.

Carole enjoyed NASCAR, her dog and reading. She was a lifelong member of the Whitehall American Legion. Carole was a loving, spunky, caring, easy-going funny woman who will be deeply missed.

Carole is survived by her 2 children, Brenda Klahr and Mark Highland; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Terry, Raymond and Randy Van Slyke.

She was preceded in death by her husband Terry, and parents.

Cremation will take place and no services will be held.
