Mrs. Carolyn Joyce VanSickle, age 57, of Fountain, MI passed away Saturday, August, 26, 2017 at home. She was born in Hart on October 5, 1959 to William and Joyce (Bartlett) Carr.  Carolyn graduated from Hart High School in 1978 and had attended Ferris State University. She married Robert VanSickle in Gatlinburg, TN on July 12, 1999. Carolyn was employed as the deli manager for Blarney-Castle Oil Company.

Cooking was a passion of Carolyn's, especially making desserts with her grandson Wyatt. She loved hunting, camping, arts and crafts, tie dye and enjoyed taking rides with her husband Bob. She and Bob also loved to visit the Gatlinburg, TN area together. Carolyn always thought of others before herself.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Robert VanSickle of Fountain, MI; one son, Robert Eugene VanSickle of Fountain, MI; two daughters, Vanessa (Josh) Shirey of Fountain, MI, Amanda (Wayne) Highland of Hart; one grandson,  Wyatt Shirey; one brother, William (Candice) Carr of Plentywood, MT; special friend, LuAnn Dyke of Manistee, MI.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dinah Carr, Suzanne Carr; nephew, Benjamin Stemen.

The Memorial Service for Mrs. VanSickle will be conducted Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 1:00 PM from the King Funeral Home-Hart with Pastor Shirley Heeg officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:30 AM until time of service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the education fund for Robby and Wyatt.
