Mr. Carson B. Smith, age 57, died Thursday, October 4, 2007. He was born in Hart on February 15, 1950 to Keith and Lydia "Mary" (Jensen) Smith. He was a graduate of Hart High School and was formerly employed at Villadsen's Greenhouse. Carson attended the Crystal Valley United Methodist Church and the Elbridge Community Church. He was also a military veteran. Carson is survived by two sisters, Susan Misner of Walkerville and Pat Bromley of Hart; three brothers, William "Bill" (Linda) Smith of Hart, Eugene (Sue) Smith of Irons, MI and George (Linda) Smith of Grant, MI; several nieces and nephews; one sister in law, Elaine Smith of Hart; brother in law, James Wilson of Grand Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Sandra Smith and Leona Wilson, three brothers, Charles, Orson and John Smith. The Funeral Service for Carson will be held Monday, October 8, 2007 at Eleven O'clock from the Tate-King Funeral Home, with Pastor Ron Worley and Pastor Dennis Bromley officiating. Interment in Mt. Ulysses Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to the Crystal Valley United Methodist Church or to the charity of your choice.
