Cathy Jean Grover, 74, of Whitehall, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023. She was born November 5, 1949, the daughter of James and Beverly (Walsama) Wawrzyniak.

On November 7, 1986, Cathy (Wawrzyniak) Zukiewicz married Tyler Grover and they spent 37 loving years together.

Cathy loved her customers and working at Plumb's as a meat clerk for 35 years.  When she wasn't at work, you could find her tending her beautiful flower gardens. She loved spending time with her family playing cards, cribbage, and dancing. She loved bowling, set back tournaments, and yard sailing.

Cathy is survived by: her husband, Tyler Grover; children, Stephanie (Eric) Curtice, Marie Cole, Nicholas Zukiewicz, and Tyler James (Dani) Grover; grandchildren, Trevor and Evan Curtice, Zachary, Kyle, and Maranda Cole, Jordan Zukiewicz, Awbreana Parish, Tyler James Grover Jr., and Lyla Grover; great-grandchildren, Ryan and David Cole; siblings, Jerry, Cleda, JoAnna, Denise, and Guy; and her very best friend, Michele Bartley.

Cathy was preceded in death by: her parents, James and Beverly Wawrzyniak; and her brothers, David, Joseph, and Alex.

Memorial services will be conducted at 12:00 PM, Saturday, November 18, 2023, at St. James Lutheran Church, 8945 Stebbins Street, Montague, MI 49461, with a luncheon to follow. The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trail Life U.S.A./St. James Lutheran Church.
