Charleen Judy, 84, of Traverse City, died Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at The Villa at Traverse Point.  She was born July 28, 1937, in Carson Hill, California, the daughter of Charles and Shirley (White) Kammerer.

Charleen loved to travel. She and her husband, Ivan, purchased a motorhome and spent a couple years traveling the country.  When they felt they'd seen everything the United States had to offer, they spent many years traveling around the world.  The memories made during their travels sustained Charleen during the hard times in her life, especially after Ivan's passing on August 7, 2020.

Even more than traveling, Charleen loved her family.  She enjoyed the holidays, preparing family meals, and making sure everyone made the most of their time together.

Charleen is survived by: her daughters, Lori (Tim) Pierce of Traverse City and Linda Johnson of Traverse City; granddaughters, Meghan (Brad) Smith and Molly (Adam) Engerer; great-grandchildren, Charley Smith, Emma Smith, Stephen Curtis, and Easton Ivan Engerer; and sister, Shirley Woods.

Charleen was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, E. Ivan Judy; and sister, Barbara Latour.

In keeping with Charleen's wishes, no services will be held.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
