Mr. Charles Edward Jeffries, age 61 of Pentwater, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017. He was born in Hart, Michigan on June 1, 1956, the youngest son of Albert and Florence (Benesch) Jeffries II.

Charles lived most of his adult life at several adult foster care providers in the Muskegon area, where he attended the Wesley School for Developmental Disabilities. Charles was employed at Goodwill Industries in Muskegon for many years.

Charlie enjoyed his visits to Pentwater spending time with his family, attending Pentwater Civic Band Concerts, the Pentwater Homecoming and the Scottville Clown Band performances. He also loved sports and supported the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Lions teams.

Charlie was very much loved by those he touched in his life and will be missed by his family and friends.

Charles is survived by his three brothers, Albert "Bert' Jeffries and Robert Jeffries, both of Pentwater and Thomas Jeffries of Oregon. He was preceded in death by his parents.

There are no services planned for Charles. Interment will be in the Pentwater Township Cemetery.
