Cheryl Diane Bentz, 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Cheryl was born in Manistee, November 23, 1944, to the late Joseph and Gladys Revolt of Manistee.
Cheryl began her education in Manistee, but ultimately graduated from Ludington High School in 1963. After graduation, Cheryl began her career working for financial institutions in the area. She finished her career as the assistant manager of Dow Ludington Employee's Credit Union (now Safe Harbor.)
On May 15, 1965, Cheryl Revolt married Reshard Bentz at Bethany Lutheran Church in Ludington. They celebrated 45 years together before Reshard's passing in 2010.
Cheryl enjoyed different interests and hobbies during the different stages of her life. As a young person, she loved to go dancing. As a wife and mother, she loved traveling and camping with her husband and their son; and watching all of Rob's athletic competitions. Later in life, she enjoyed crafting with her friends weekly at her church and being a part of the Danish Sisterhood of America. She also took great joy in her grandchildren, Reid and Bethany!
Cheryl was a woman of faith who enjoyed listening to Christian music. She also faithfully participated in the online worship service of Woodside Bible Church in White Lake (MI). where her son serves as the lead pastor.
She will be dearly missed by her son, Pastor Robert Bentz and his wife, Bonnie; her grandchildren, Reid and Bethany of Highland, Michigan; Also surviving are her sister, Anna Carter (Carl Sundbeck); sister-in-law, Janice Revolt of Manistee; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, including Tammy, Paul, and Nick Cilman of Ludington, and John Revolt of Manistee.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Pere Marquette Chapel, 309 South Washington Avenue, Ludington, MI 49431, visitation will be held at 10:30 AM until time of service.
Memorial contributions can be made to Woodside Bible Church White Lake (9000 Highland Rd, White Lake, MI 48386) or the Danish Sisterhood of America.
