IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cheryl Ann
Smith
August 16, 1965 – February 21, 2025
Cheryl Ann Smith, 59, of Hart, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 21, 2025, at her home. She was born August 16, 1965, in Muskegon, the daughter of Raymond and Wilma Jean (England) Eyestone.
While Cheryl's life was often marked with struggles, she maintained a resiliency about herself that drove her to push forward for her family. She was abundantly proud of the property she purchased for their home in Oceana County, even in the face of tragedy, when she experienced a house fire; she persevered for the future of her family. Cheryl had a heart of Gold and would share it with anyone that was in need. She may not have always been able to express herself in conventional ways, but her strength and resilience were her quiet gifts to those she left behind.
Cheryl is survived by: her sons, Joe Fielder and Craig Curtis; daughter, Christina Chapa; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild; mother, Wilma Jean; brother, Stephen (Gloria) Eyestone; sisters, Shirley Eyestone and Kitty Sue Lockwood; significant other, Joe Davila; and many self-made siblings that she held dear to her.
Cheryl was preceded in death by: her father, Raymond Eyestone; and her brother, Phil Eyestone.
In accordance with Cheryl's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
