Christine Louise Murray, 72, of Whitehall, Passed away Friday, May 24, 2024. She was born June 9, 1951, in Alma, the daughter of E. Frank and L. Jane (Layman) Napieralski.

On September 18, 1971 Christine married Michael Murray and they spent over 52 years together.

Christine graduated from U.S. Grant High School, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After high school, Christine obtained her Master's Degree in Education from Eastern Michigan University. She worked in the Just for Kids program in Berchtesgaden, Germany, and taught elementary physical education in Traverse City Area Public Schools for fourteen years.

Christine enjoyed horses, water skiing, quilting, and time spent with her family.

Christine is survived by: her husband, Michael Murray; and her daughter, Stevie Delahunt.

Christine was preceded in death by: her parents; and her brother, Stephen Napieralski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 31, 2024, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1110 Dykstra Rd, North Muskegon, Michigan 49445, with Father Godfrey Onyekwere presiding, and visitation being held one hour to the starting of Mass. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, 413 South Mears Avenue, Whitehall, Michigan 49461. Interment will take place at 2:30 PM, Friday, May 31, 2024, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Montague.

Memorial contributions may be made to World Central Kitchens or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
