Christopher Roetzel lost his battle with lung and bone cancer October 11, 2024, with his life partner Linda Oaks and his two dogs Henry and Kane and cat Sassy by his side.

He is survived by: a son, Christopher; and sister, named Julie.

Christopher worked at Wilderness Canoe Trips and the deli at Market 37 in Mesick for many years.

He enjoyed the outdoors, canoeing and kayaking, having bonfires with his friends, spending time with his pets, and watching his favorite show, Bar Rescue, on television.

His lasting words were that he could see his buddy Percy sitting at the doorway wagging his tail welcoming him home.

No services will be held.
